This is a birthday card in radiant orchid tones (Pantone's color of the year) with some gold accents. I used one of Isbaha's card sketches for this month (the second one).

I started with glueing down some twine on the card base. The easiest way to do this is to use Glossy Accents. That bottle have a fine tip that allows you to hold it, almost like a pen, and 'write' with the glue. When you are done drawing your image or writing the word you want, just press the twine down into the glue track, a little bit at a time.

After that I punched a circle from an older Basic Grey paper and added the sentiment with word stickers. 'Grattis' is Swedish for 'Congrats'. I put the sentiment circle down on top of the twine, with foam tabs.

I painted the wood veneer birds with gold color, let them dry, and then glued them down on the page with Glossy Accents.
