One of our members, Jen McGee, played along with the Pop Up! kit this month, and we are excited to show her projects. Jen is a married mom of two. She's been scrapbooking for 15 years and love to scrap the family life and adventures. This month, she scrapped some photos from her and her husband's 10th wedding anniversary on Hawaii! Oh, what a dream! I would love to go to Hawaii some day.
Here is the lovely stash kit that she pulled together.
I love the many wood veneer pieces - frame, sign post (how fun!!), paper and the scrabble tile paper! And all those yummy green tones. These colors really work together.
The double page (image on top) is such a sunshiny design and those photos are stunning! This is a great example of how the photos are allowed to take the leading role on the page. Still, there are some beautiful details, like the woodgrain pattern in the background and the cute layered flower.
Below, is a page with photos from Diamond Head. I love the name put in the profile of the landmark (maybe ephemera from the trip?) and the funny title (I am guilty of using that title myself at some time - lol!) made with Scrabble letters. The wooden sign post is perfect on this page!
And here is another page from Diamond Head. Congrats for making it all the way to the top, Jen! :) Wow, that must have been a hot walk! I love the green photo matting that makes the pics pop. And the die cut title is beautiful!
There are a couple of more layouts from Jen's kit in our Flickr gallery. Please, go there to look and comment on Jen's and other's projects. And/or login here to comment.
Don't be shy - you are very welcome to upload your own pages in there. If you are not a Flickr member, you are welcome to share your projects on our Facebook page! Who knows, it might be your kit and projects that are featured here the next time. :)
Jen, thank you so much for letting us look at your wonderful kit and pages!
