This is 'Going For Gold', the kit for January 2013. The main accent is gold. The base is a neutral white. Then you might want to add some color accents. I chose a couple of green hues: Emerald and Peacock. The Emerald color is Pantone's Color of the Year 2013. This, together with the trendy gold and some other popular items like sequins, glitter tape and graphical patterns, will make your new scrap projects feel fresh and current even if you use old supplies.
Remember: You don't have to make your kit exactly like mine. These images and videos are only meant to be an inspiration. If you would rather use silver than gold, or if you don't like metallic colors at all, change it around or play it down. If you don't like glitter, maybe just add a tiny accent somewhere in your project. If you hate green, choose another accent color that you love and use that instead.
Let's take a closer look at the kit contents. First, we have the papers in green tones.
Then, the whites and some special papers with gold.
Some gold glitter papers...
And more embellishments.
And some inks, glitter, mists and paints if you would like to 'get messy'.
